Old School Part 2

A good friend of mine brought it to my attention that a pen would make a better example than a pencil. A pen can be continually refilled. We as humans can be spiritually refilled through prayer, praise, fellowship, and meditation. Every now and then, a pen will get gunked up, whether by dryed up ink (a stagnant, lukewarm soul), or by foreign particles (the by-products of hate, greed, pride, etc.). But God did something totally unimaginable. He sent His own Son to earth that we, as pens, may be made clean. But the awesome thing is that you don't need to be clean when you first meet Him. Jesus wants to find you just the way you are, and then work through you and in you to improve your relationship with God. God created us, and gave us free will, but He desperately wants a relationship with us. Don't be a dryed or gunked up pen. Let the love, grace, and peace of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ consume your heart. Be an eternal pen for God to use; a pen that "writes" what is good in God's eyes and is filled with a spiritual ink, one that does not clog or dry up, but lasts forever. Think about it.
