Old School Part 6

So for those of you who know me, you know that I've been dating this girl named Megan since October. Well, we broke up last night. I'm sorry if you care much for me and find this out by reading instead of me telling you face to face. If you pray, I ask that you keep Megan in your prayers, because she broke up with me to figure out who she is. I've been in a relationship where the girl put her identity in me, and that ended in a very not pretty way. I praise God that Megan was able to step away from me to find herself. I am grateful that Megan was honest with me and with herself. We're going to go with being friends and we'll keep it that way until things change. Megan told me before we started dating (and shortly after the not-so-pretty end of my last relationship) that she was there as a friend and would continue to be a friend. She told me that if later on down the road things changed, then she could be more than a friend. I feel the same way towards her. If you see her, give her some encouragement and remind to to have faith that everything will be okay.
